Gustavo Palafox premieres "La Dama" as tribute to all women

LOS ANGELES - March 27, 2021 - PRLog -- The corridos singer-songwriter Gustavo Palafox today launches his new song "La Dama" as a tribute to women who struggle in the midst of difficulties to get ahead with great courage.

Gustavo Palafox, originally from Guaymas, Sonora, became known for his corridos based on real events and his songs vary between romantics, rancheras and corridos to the rhythm of a Sinaloean Band, Norteño, Sierreño and the Tumbado genre. To give a twist to the corridos he usually performs, "La Dama" is totally inspired by a real woman whose name is not mentioned, but has advanced in life with effort and overcoming all kinds of limitations.

"La Dama" is not only a tribute but also a vehicle for Gustavo Palafox to inspire other women to strive to overcome whatever fear and/or adversity they may be facing.

The corrido is a composition by Gustavo Palafox himself and is accompanied by the official video that is now available on his YouTube channel.
