Southern Ocean Chamber to discuss Cannabis and Your Business at May 5 Meeting

SHIP BOTTOM, N.J. - March 30, 2021 - PRLog -- The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce continues to bring customized programming to the LBI Region business community. With the many changes surrounding new sectors of industry, the 107 year organization strives to bring trusted resources to help with sustainable strategies. The May 5 membership meeting will be held via zoom beginning at 10am. The keynote is Attorney John D Fansburg, Co Chair of Brach Eichler Cannabis Industry Practice. The program will provide insight regarding the new rules and regulations will have the business community with a Q & A session scheduled.

The presentation will include overview of the law, including timeframe from Cannabis Regulatory Commission. Other topics will include Regulatory Issues on adult recreational use, how does it differ from medical, employer rights and responsibilities, what are the different licenses, and its impact across New Jersey. John D. Fanburg has more than 30 years of experience in health and hospital law, with an emphasis on corporate, transactional, and regulatory matters for physicians and health care institutions. A recognized leader in this sector, John is known for excellence in transactions, perseverance in deal-making, and strength in corporate, M&A, and regulatory matters.
