Up to Par Management Appoints David Schmidt as General Manager of Haverhill Golf and Country Club

HAVERHILL, Mass. - March 25, 2021 - PRLog -- Up to Par Management and Haverhill Golf and Country Club announced the executive appointment of David Schmidt to General Manager. In this role, Schmidt will oversee all aspects of the club's operations, including pool and golf operations, food and beverage services, and weddings and special events.

Schmidt brings more than 25 years of experience to the leadership team in private golf course and club operations to the property located in Haverhill, Massachusetts. "David has been a General Manager overseeing private clubs for 20+ years," said Shaun Fronk, VP of Operations at Up to Par Management. "We're excited to have someone with David's experience joining us for the next chapter of Haverhill Golf & Country Club and Up to Par Management."

Prior to joining Up to Par Management at Haverhill Golf & Country Club, Schmidt was the General Manager of The Racquet Club in Midland, Texas. He also served as general manager of the Signature of Solon in Ohio, Fairway Oaks Country Club and Plainview Country Club, both in Texas. David's experience also includes time as clubhouse manager as well as bar manager, which makes him uniquely suited to help revitalize the food and beverage operations at the club.

A native of Texas, Schmidt received his education at The University of Texas in Austin and Texas Tech University in Lubbock. An avid learner, his club career trajectory has earned him certifications through the National Restaurant Association as well as the Club Management Association of America (CMAA).
