Michael Shabkie, NEMTAC Founder said, "This is a significant moment in the history of our organization. Our board of directors is thrilled to introduce a leader of Effie's caliber as our new President and I am excited for what the future holds under her leadership."
For more than a decade, Effie Carlson has advised and led healthcare teams across growth, operations, contracting, and government/policy. "I could not be more grateful to accept the position as President of NEMTAC. Our organization consists of an extremely talented team of board members and advisory board members. My goal in leading this organization is to build on their incredible achievements and truly make a positive impact on the industry," said Effie Carlson, NEMTAC President.
"Effie's passion for both the healthcare and NEMT industries could not come at a more pivotal moment. She possesses the dedication and expertise to lead NEMTAC as we introduce the first set NEMT national standards and further develop our NEMT driver certification and company accreditation programs," said Melissa Jankowski, Executive Director.
