Charity Golf Classic Scheduled May 6 at River Hall
Proceeds Benefit Goodwill Programs and Services for People with Disabilities
By: Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida
"We invite players to enjoy a top-notch area golf course while also supporting our mission of helping nearly 25,000 individuals annually in Southwest Florida improve their lives," said John Nadeau, Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida CEO/President.
Players will tee off at 8:30 a.m. on the 18-hole course, which is a Davis Love III design, and has come to be respected throughout the region as one of the most distinctive and sought-after courses for players of all levels. After golfing, a BBQ lunch will be provided and trophies will be awarded. The top prize will be a $7,500 Golf Vacation to play at Pebble Beach, including airfare, hotel and golf accommodations — to win, a player must score a Hole-in-One on the designated hole during the tournament.
Dozens of other prizes will be available through course contests and raffles. Cost is $125 per player or $500 per foursome. A limited number of sponsorships are available, such as lunch ($1,500) or hole sponsors ($250).
