ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - March 15, 2021 - PRLog -- The inaugural Concerts for a Cause event held on March 5 at Tringali Barn in St. Augustine, Fla. featured An Evening with Rodney Atkins, a Tennessee-born country musician with six No. 1 hits and 13 million albums sold. Presented by Heritage Farms and Adams Entertainment, part of the event proceeds benefitted INK! (Investing in Kids), a nonprofit organization that leads efforts to directly benefit educators and students within the St. Johns County School District. The CDC guidelines, socially distanced live music concert featured dinner, drinks, and a myriad of fundraising promotions, and yielded $33,500 for INK! which provides the tools and resources for teachers to help all local students reach their full potential.

Sponsors of the event helped fund part of the expenses so that more money could be donated to INK!. Those sponsors included title sponsor Auditmacs and event sponsor Heritage Farms, as well as The Bailey Group, Bozard Ford Lincoln, Ring Power, AA Bail Able Bail Bonds, and Sea Glass Title. Local volunteers from St. Johns Volunteers, Rotary Club of St. Augustine and Rotary Club of St. Augustine Beach helped to facilitate the concert. Food was donated by Sysco and prepared by Woodpecker's Back Yard BBQ, and beverages were donated by Burkhardt Sales and Service.

Chris Shee, owner of Tringali Barn at Heritage Farms, and his company, MasterCraft Builder Group, launched the inaugural concert series and selected INK! due to Shee's interests in raising money for local nonprofits through his company's charitable giving initiatives.

"We are very grateful to receive the generous donation from Chris and all sponsors to help us continue with much needed programs and services in our area," said Donna Lueders, INK!'s Executive Director. According to Lueders, the local nonprofit continues to provide innovative programs and classroom resources to promote the academic success of students. "INK! provides the tools and resources for teachers to help each child reach their full potential," she said. For more information, contact Donna Lueders at 904-547-7120 or email Donna@inksjc.org.
