He joined Pollock Begg as an associate after serving as a law clerk at the firm. He also has clerked at the Allegheny County Bar Association and for Judge Eleanor Bush of the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County. He is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.

A prolific writer, Lehman has authored numerous articles on a variety of family law topics for Pennsylvania Family Lawyer magazine. Lehman also is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, participating in its Young Lawyers Division.

A graduate of Duquesne University School of Law, Lehman served as president of Duquesne's Family Law Society and participated in its Family Law Clinic. He was the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Criminal Law and the prestigious Eric D. Turner Award given by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
