III GRAN Announces Debut Album And Record Release Show on March 19th

NEW YORK - March 13, 2021 - PRLog -- III GRAN ANNOUNCES DEBUT ALBUM AND RECORD RELEASE SHOW

Good Time features original music and celebratory cover songs

New York, NY, March 11, 2021 — III GRAN presents their debut record, Good Time, and an album release show to be live-streamed on Friday, March 19th.

III GRAN consists of Nat Townsley (Alejandro Sanz, Joe Zawinull, Richard Bona) on drums, Ron Long (Christina Aguilera, The Backstreet Boys, Purple Xperience) on bass, and Glenn Gibson Jr. (Le'Andria Johnson, Donnie McClurkin) on keys.

The band performs music that fuses multiple genres including jazz, funk, gospel, R&B and more.

The album, Good Time, was recorded and mixed at Ian London Productions on Long Island, NY. It includes the band's original music, but also includes several cover songs, including the Bob James song, "Angela," the theme from the TV show Taxi.

The record also includes a very unique two-part cover of the iconic Phil Collins's song "Take Me Home," from his album No Jacket Required, which celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2020.

"Phil Collins was an influential drummer to me, and this album was a pivotal album of my youth. I wanted to acknowledge its anniversary and pay homage to it by doing our own take on the hit single, 'Take Me Home,'" said Townsley.

Three original songs are also included on this album, showcasing the trio's talent as both songwriters and musicians.

To celebrate the new album, III GRAN will live-stream a RECORD RELEASE SHOW on FRIDAY, MARCH 19, 2021 at 8 PM EST.

Tickets are only $10 and include a complimentary pre-release download of the album, Good Time.

Note: The show will remain online for viewing through Monday, March 22nd.

The band plans to officially release the album as a digital download in early spring on all good music platforms, including Amazon and Apple Music.
