Rock and Roll 101 celebrates St. Patrick's Day with Irish Rock on SKY 7!

A full hour of rock from Ireland and Northern Ireland; and a shout out to a legendary drummer.
APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. - March 11, 2021 - PRLog -- This Sunday night on SKY 7, Rock and Roll 101 - hosted by Daniel the Musicologist - celebrates St. Patrick's Day by featuring Irish rock – singers and bands representing Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The lineup in the first hour includes Van Morrison with both Them and the Chieftains, Thin Lizzy, Rory Gallagher, The Corrs, U2, Eire Apparent, Dexys Midnight Runners and more, including The Irish Rovers.

In the second hour, "Can I Get A Witness" is the Cover of the Week, and there's a six-song segment remembering Wrecking Crew drummer Hal Blaine, who played on hundreds of hits, including 150 Top Ten and 40 No. 1's.

The Vintage Tunedex spotlights the top hits in Billboard for the week of March 9, 1968. It's a mix of old school soul, bubblegum, psychedelic country-rock, and middle-of-the-road pop.
