WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - March 11, 2021 - PRLog -- Pro wrestlers White Mike and Timmy Lou Retton, collectively known as The Gymnasty Boys, have announced that they have broken up. After forming 3 years ago, the duo quickly became fan favorites and once held 5 tag team titles at the same time. They defeated The Dawson Brothers in November of 2020 to become AML Wrestling World Tag Team Champions, a designation they held for over a year until they decided to call it quits as a team.

When asked about the announcement, former Gymnasty Boy Michael Smith aka White Mike said, "After becoming tag team champions for 5 different companies, we felt it was important to give other teams an opportunity to rise up and accomplish their goal. The AML Wrestling World Tag Team Title is prestigious and there's a ton of up and coming teams that want them."

Timothy Bumpers aka Timmy Lou Retton added, "I'm grateful for the past 3 years and for the fans who have supported us. Now it's time for us to focus on our singles careers and winning singles titles."

The break up of The Gymnasty Boys leaves the AML Wrestling World Tag Team Titles vacant. An announcement regarding how new tag team champions will be determined is forthcoming.
