Local CEO Named to Advisory Board

RALEIGH, N.C. - March 9, 2021 - PRLog -- Michelle Keaton-Barrow, CEO of Keaton Barrow Realty, has been named to the Advisory Board of North State Bank. The Raleigh-based community bank first opened its doors on June 1, 2000, and now serves the needs of individual and business clients across seven branches.

As just one example, since 2004 the bank's Summer Salute has raised over $1.9 million for Transitions LifeCare to help ensure that everyone, regardless of financial means, receives the care and dignity they deserve at life's end.

With more than 30 years' experience in commercial and residential real estate, Keaton-Barrow has developed a reputation as an experienced businesswoman and a trusted expert whose knowledge of current market trends, neighborhood statistics, and insurance information is unmatched. She honed her leadership skills as a college professor, business owner and board member. Her passion for philanthropy is demonstrated by the numerous non-profit and charitable entities that she supports. In addition to her new role with North State Bank, serves on the boards of the United Minority Contractors of North Carolina, the Wake County Community Foundation, PAVE Charter School, and the Women's Impact Fund of Charlotte, is a member of the Junior League of Raleigh at the Sustainer level. In her spare time, she is an avid golfer and member of LPGA Amateurs.
