UK Manufacturer Welcomes Chancellor's Support For UK Property Market

SHREWSBURY, U.K. - March 4, 2021 - PRLog -- Mid West Displays believe the two announcements will help continue the increased level of activity in the UK property market that has been achieved since the end of the UK's first lockdown.

A stamp duty holiday added to the number of house sales, and this has now been extended. The tax break was due to end on 31 March, but it will now end on 30 June. After this date, the starting rate of stamp duty will be £250,000 until the end of September. Stamp duty will then return to the usual threshold, and will be paid on property sold for more than £125,000.
