Fashion Designer Minika Ko and NYC Arts Empire Host a Event to Celebrate International Women's Day
A COVID-Safe, Transformative Charity Event in Celebration of International Women's Day
By: Minika KO, LLC
KOllision offers a transformative, fun, and philanthropic experience through workshops, fashion beauty, and art. Throughout the day, enjoy hourly workshops on entrepreneurship, self-love, meditation, and more. Free admission to the NYC Arts Empire gallery, fashion styling with the KOVASKY collection, and makeup with MBDbeauty are available all day. On Saturday from 6-8PM, there will be an art reception happy hour: meet and greet with artists, networking, a DJ, and live portrait drawings.
Created in 2017 by Minika Ko, KOllision has supported both local and international charities including Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen and Stand for Education. This year, Ko joined forces with NYC Arts Empire to support Bottomless Closet, an organization that helps New York City women in need get employment. As a fashion designer, it is her belief that brands should incorporate giving back in their company culture at any stage. Through collaboration with other creatives, we can "put a dent in the universe".
KOllision 2021 workshop speakers: Mollie Fehlig, Joseph Fraia, Sylvia Tsai, Cyrene Renee, Melissa Schainker, Daga Biernacka, Andrea DiLieto, Britt James, Pavle Sabic, and Therés Amee.
CDC guidelines will be strictly followed to ensure a safe and pleasant experience. Masks are required to enter. Rsvp here: kollision2021.eventbrite.com
