Dr. Stephanie Kinsey and Palencia Dental donate to nonprofits in health, fitness, youth activities

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Feb. 23, 2021 - PRLog -- Stephanie Kinsey, DDS, owner and founder of Palencia Dental in St. Augustine, Fla. has continued with charitable giving to nonprofits in St. Johns County, Fla. to support much-needed programs and services for youth, individuals, families, and organizations in need.

Funds were recently donated to the ALS Association Florida Chapter as Lou Gehrig's disease claimed the life of Dr. Kinsey's father in 2016. Dr. Kinsey donated $7,000 through the St. Augustine Walk to Defeat ALS event with participation from patients, family, and friends. The funds have a direct impact on people living with ALS at the local level through education, support groups, access to care and advocacy, and to help defeat the devastating illness.

For more than three years, Dr. Kinsey has continued to contribute much-needed funds to the Allen D. Nease High School Panthers Varsity Girls Tennis team to forward the program's advancement in team gear and equipment, program competitions, and activities. The donations have helped Head Coach Michael Kypriss to train the tennis team as top state contenders overall and in singles with the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA). Kypriss is also a tennis professional at the Palencia Tennis Center.

Additionally, Dr. Kinsey provides support for Palencia neighborhood community youth who participate in the local Villages Baseball Association (VBA) and the Bombers team in St. Augustine. Dr. Kinsey is a Gold Level sponsor for the Bombers and VBA's Advanced Baseball program which provides boys and girls from ages 13 to 18 with an opportunity to play and compete at a higher skill level through specialized instruction and competition. Palencia Dental contributions were also made as a $500 gold sponsor for the 5th Annual Pirate 5K hosted by the Palencia Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) along with toothpaste, pens, and lip balm for participant's goodie bags. With more than 200 registered in the race this year, all proceeds were donated for local classroom storage systems and outdoor educational spaces.
