The historical voodoo subculture of New Orleans provides the backdrop for this supernatural tale about a young, black boxer who is just one win away from a shot at the world title. But local mobsters have already determined the outcome: Remy Pittman will lose the fight or die.

Remy has other plans. He will fight back . . . from the grave. Remy ignored his orders and won the fight. The mobsters are not happy, and they kill Remy, along with his pitbull, as Remy and his dog visit his parents' gravesite.

Left to rot in a shallow grave, Remy is transformed into a creature of the night, a werepitbull, aka The Pit. Remy seeks out the mobsters and creates his own type of vengeance.

Remy came back from the grave to send his enemies to theirs. Who will win the final epic battle?

Jared R. Teer grew up in Texas and was stationed in Washington State after joining the Army in 2001. He served one tour in Iraq, and then decided to stay in Olympia, Washington, after leaving the Army in 2006. He is a substitute teacher and a professional kickboxer.
