PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Feb. 16, 2021 - PRLog -- Armed with an attention-commanding voice and sharp pen, Jon Hope is here to inspire and motivate listeners on his new album, Hope All Is Well. The thing is, he's not about to try that on some "blind positivity sh*t." His undeniable passion and worldview are shaped not by blind faith but a lived-in sensibility of someone who's seen and been through some real stuff. And it's with his past on his shoulders and a future worth fighting for—he's a single father of a young daughter—Hope brings everything he has to this new record that finds him at his best musically and lyrically.

In speaking on the album's title, the Providence, R.I. native explains that HAIW embodies the reckoning he had that he "was carrying a lot of bullsh*t in my life and normalizing some real hood trauma." He continues: "I want to raise expectations about what it means to be a 'real n***a' and remove the stigma in our culture that's attached to being positive and wanting better than the cliched hip-hop tropes we come to love."

Hope accomplishes his goal through tracks like the supremely powerful "THS (feat. Israel Wusu)," a soulful and uplifting anthem, and the gripping album intro, "Where We Come From," which features words of wisdom from NYC rap titan Jim Jones.

And then there's the immediately absorbing "Bluest Moon (feat. RagzDaArtist)," a deeply personal story about overcoming a need for validation. The track also features production from his longtime friend and collaborator, Bongo By The Way, the Grammy-winning producer known for his work with Jazmine Sullivan, H.E.R., and others. To coincide with the album's release, Hope teamed with Eric Galano to create a video for "Bluest Moon," and it brings the track's potent lyricism to life with heartfelt imagery and creative direction.

Never one to take full credit, Hope points to his collaborators—namely producers/friends Wattz Beatz and Danny Keyz—as being equal architects to the creation of HAIW. And it's with their shared vision and guidance that the emcee was able to record the type of album that the world truly needs.

Hope All Is Well is available now through all major digital retailers and streaming platforms via Perfect Time Music Group.
