School Summer Holiday Weeks Fully Booked (despite Shapps)

BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - Feb. 16, 2021 - PRLog -- As the Government – and Grant Shapps in particular – continue to send mixed messaging regarding the likelihood or not of families enjoying a UK holiday this summer, Lovat Holiday Parks – which owns and operates seven parks in Southern England – reports that it is almost 100% sold out for the school holiday period in late July and August.

Comments Raoul Fraser, Director of Lovat Holiday Parks: "Despite all the current uncertainty, the British public have clearly decided to make sure that they don't miss out on a summer holiday during the peak months of July and August.

"If the Government does give the go ahead for UK holidays, a great many people are going to be disappointed as there simply won't be anything left to book.

"My advice would be for people to book for May and June – where we do have availability – Whitsun week half term for example, or in June, when families with pre-school age kids can take advantage of lower prices and less crowded destinations."
