Georgia Senate Honors Influential Muslims

ATLANTA - Feb. 16, 2021 - PRLog -- The Islamic Speakers Bureau of Atlanta (ISB) and its program "100 Influential Georgia Muslims" was recognized at the Georgia State Senate on Wednesday, February 10,2021.  In Senate Resolution 87, sponsored by Senator Sheikh Rahman (Lawrenceville) and co-sponsored by 20 other senators from across the state, the ISB was praised for its program that "showcases the successes and impact of members of Georgia's Muslim community" in Georgia.

The Islamic Speaker Bureau of Atlanta (ISB) developed the "100 Influential Georgia Muslims" program to focus on the achievements and diversity of Georgia's Muslim community.  With the dual intentions of celebrating each individual's path to success and providing young people with role models, the "Influentials" program also highlights the community's deep commitment to serving others.  The Influentials represent success from many sectors of Georgia's society:  corporate leaders, volunteer activists, medical practitioners, educators, high-tech entrepreneurs and public servants.
