Marsh Creek Home Sales team works with octogenarians to join luxury households

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Feb. 11, 2021 - PRLog -- For more than 25 years, Peggy Gachet, Broker Associate, has served as a renowned veteran in the real estate business. The young-at-heart senior couple each own large, custom built homes. The architecturally unique properties have been painstakingly personalized throughout the years to suit their respective, growing families. However, years ago, Tutschek and Nichols both lost their spouses and became single again in the Marsh Creek golf, tennis, and social club community. Mutual friends introduced the couple and they have been dating with plans for marriage. However, Tutschek's house was too large for them at more than 4,200-square-feet and they have decided to live together in Nichol's home.

Long took on the demanding and thoughtful task of consolidating and staging each of the couple's precious family homes, although the work is mostly at Tutscheck's house. Hundreds of pieces of his household items, heirlooms, clothing, furnishings, and collectables from travels around the world were carefully inventoried, packed, stored, transported, and more, with almost daily meetings to pare down exceptionally personal and meaningful items. Organizing the shipment of family valuables to out-of-state adult children, coordinating estate sales, consignments, thrift shop pick-up and delivery, repairs, and improvements, were just a few of activities required.  Long aided by Gachet accomplished the tasks with expertise from years of personal experiences and working with several other real estate clients in similar stages of life. Long took the primary role in divesting the items in addition to working with team members Gachet and Alise Sheppard in the upcoming sale of Tutscheck's home.

Tutscheck's single-family home is located at 221 Fiddlers Point Dr. on the marsh front and is currently under contract for more than $1 million with Gachet's team at Watson Realty's St. Augustine beach office. The property was built in 2004 with four bedrooms and four bathrooms, and approximately 4,205 square feet of floor space on close to an acre.
