PHOENIX - Feb. 10, 2021 - PRLog -- Get ready for an amazing display of authentic Japanese culture brought to you by The Arizona Matsuri.  Last year attendees experienced the new on-site location at Circle of Life at Steele Indian School Park in central Phoenix.  This year the event is going virtual.  Join online for one of the nation's highest attended, two-day Japanese culture festivals, that is free of charge for all.

The family-friendly event will be held on Facebook (@azmatsuri.)  Check out event programming there.  Due to the current climate with COVID-19 and park restrictions, for the safety of all involved, the event will better serve the greater community by being held online.  The event features all the performances, vendors, and exhibits from the comfort of one's own home or mobile device!

This will be the 37th year for Arizona Matsuri.  The theme for the 2021 Arizona Matsuri is "Senbazuru (1000 Origami Cranes)".  Festival hours begin at 10:00 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Enthusiasts are encouraged to still dress up for the day in traditional or modern styles in the spirit of the east meeting the west and to experience the land of the rising sun right here in the valley. The festival includes entertainment, raffles, taiko and martial arts, merchandise vendors, food vendors, clubs, fine arts, children's games, and exhibits.

TWO FREE DAYS IN JAPAN….in Phoenix? "It sure feels like it!"
