MIAMI - Feb. 4, 2021 - PRLog -- The essence of teamwork is brought to the fore in this short story.

In The Great Battle between Mouth and Tongue, the characters Mouth and Tongue have co-existed peacefully for decades, until the day comes when issues of self-importance erupt to confront their teamwork.

Mouth and Tongue eventually fall out and refuse to cooperate with each other, each thinking it is sufficient unto itself for its own existence. Their prolonged days of battle render not only them, but all other Body Parts, herein referred to as "House," weak. The rippling effects of this battle jeopardize the health of every member of the House.

This very insightful story, simply written, provides lessons that bear on the inter-dependency of all things created, which are necessary to work together for the peaceful co-existence of mankind.

Doris Eshun was born and raised in Ghana, a beautiful country in West Africa. She migrated to the United States in 2002. As a homemaker, she indulges herself in writing, her greatest hobby, and spends her leisure moments writing about societal issues which she is passionate about. Using her well-loved satirical style and flair for writing, the author hopes to draw attention to issues that need to be addressed. Her first book was A Journey of Hope: A Short Story.
