New Media Film Festival® introduces new technology, and the communication of ideas through panels and Q & A's to implement a more expansive use of 21st-century technology in storytelling for both artists and content creators. The 12^thNew Media Film Festival is slated for June 2-3 2021 at The Landmark in Los Angeles.

Serving as the very first film festival to distribute micro-content, to screen AI created film, a holographic digital comic, to name a few, the New Media Film Festival® has continuously embraced the next steps in film technology as well as how film festivals as a whole are approached and formatted.

The goal of the New Media Film Festival® is to bring the world the best in New Media – honoring stories worth telling. Showcasing emerging and established video and new media artists throughout the world, the New Media Film Festival® gives the global community the chance to experience the latest in technology and innovative storytelling.

Entrants into the New Media Film Festival® are eligible for up to $45,000 in awards.  Additionally, nominees get to walk the red carpet for press interviews, participate in the Creative Mixer, which honors nominees, participate in a Q & A and are highlighted in the New Media Film Festival®'s monthly newsletter, which is distributed to over 80,000 readers.

Online, public, novice, and expert content is all eligible for the New Media Film Festival®, as are all genres and niches, with all completed-by dates. Both distributed and non-distributed content can be submitted for the New Media Film Festival®, which offers over twenty eight categories with award considerations.
