Good fairy Štefica in the Trakošćan castle | Picturebook by Tatjana Pisek - Verlić

BRUSSELS - Feb. 3, 2021 - PRLog -- Author of fairytales for children, poet, sailor, Tatjana Pisek - Verlić was born in 1960 in Zagreb, the capital of fairytale Croatia. In 1994 she published her first collection of poetry "Holding the sky", with a second edition following in 1997. In 2001 she published the first illustrated fairytale in The Good Fairy Štefica series. In 2009 she published the collection of poetry "Songs for the soul".

About the picture-book

The 'Good fairy Štefica in the Trakošćan castle' is an educational, bilingual, illustrated fairytale about the most famous Croatian castle and its history. Following the adventures of the good fairy Štefica, children learn the history of the castle and facts about its former inhabitants, while learning Croatian and English in a fun way. The book was recommended by the children's pedagogue Dunja Barušić, who stated that the picture book is educational and stimulating and that it's suitable for both younger school-age children and preschool children.
