First in history Lithuanian/Japanese song
By: Justin 3
The album's creative process continues and this time, together with producer Marius Matulevičius, Justinas Stanislovaitis presents the work "Sky/空", which was created and performed with artist Nanami Honda from the Rising Sun Country - Japan. Nanami was always interested in international projects, and while listening to the music performed by Justin, she was excited and immediately fell in love not only with the music but also with the romantic and warm sound of the Lithuanian language.
Justinas Stanislovaitis says that it was quite difficult to find a performer from Japan, but of course smart technologies also served here, and then we quickly managed to agree with Nanami and create a song in two languages - Lithuanian and Japanese. Justin hints that throughout the album there is a call to dream, a perception that there is something more than we realize, a sense of eternity, peace, and that is especially so in Japanese culture. The album itself is unique in that it reveals the characteristics and differences of languages and cultures.
It was actually difficult to write the lyrics in Japanese because I tried to keep the atmosphere, the mood, of this song. However, the harder it was, the more I liked it. "The most exciting moment was when I first listened to the demo version of this song," says Nanami Honda with excitement. "I didn't know exactly how it would turn out, but I just felt it would be a beautiful ,rich and deep song."
This was a fun and meaningful experience to sing this song with Justin, adds singer Nanami Honda
