Finalists & Performers Stage an Autism's Got Talent Live Show on April 17 at the Del Mar Fairground

SAN DIEGO - Feb. 2, 2021 - PRLog -- The Autism Society San Diego will stage a live, all-star concert on Saturday, April 17 at 2:00 pm at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in San Diego. The drive-in style outdoor concert will benefit the 2021 programs offered by the Autism Society San Diego while showcasing the local talents of individuals of all ages and abilities diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Through a collaboration with Mainly Mozart of San Diego, the Autism's Got Talent Live! event will feature performers and finalists from the 2020 Autism's Got Talent event with special performances by:

• Jungle Poppins, the only band to compete in the Autism's Got Talent, with 3 out of the 4 members on the autism spectrum. The band consists of Reid Moriarty, Ethan Marr, Brendan Kerr and Steven Crowle
• Devri Laudner, singer and keyboardist
• Steven Fletcher, puppeteer who performs with Kermit the Frog puppet
• Special Appearance by Comedian Carson Wehlag
• And many more performers and surprises

Fans and attendees will be able to watch and enjoy the show from their cars in a tailgate style format. There will, also, be an outdoor art exhibition curated by the Art of Autism that attendees will be able to check out. The parking gates open at noon and performances begin at 2:00 pm PST.

In October 2020, the Autism's Got Talent online competition performed at Rock and Roll San Diego and raised over $40,000 that will go directly to fund programs and opportunities for the organization only in the San Diego region. This event was timely as most of the organization's fundraiser events had to be cancelled due to COVID-19.
