Three Night Spring Break to the New Forest
By: Balmer Lawn Hotel
First to arrive are the carpets of bluebells and snowdrops, swiftly followed by cowslips, daffodils, and many other species of flora. The famous New Forest ponies give birth to their foals, and donkeys can be seen grazing as they enjoy the warming temperatures.
The iconic, four-star, Balmer Lawn Hotel in Brockenhurst, in the heart of the forest, has created a special three-night break, to provide a chance to enjoy spring in the New Forest National Park, with its wide-open spaces, stunning scenery and abundance of wildlife.
The hotel is a short walk to the village, with its dog friendly pubs, or a short drive to many of the forest's popular locations and attractions including Beaulieu, Lyndhurst, Lymington, Exbury Gardens and Bucklers Hard.
And, at the end of a day, after enjoying long walks (the hotel is dog friendly so the family pet can come along), with a stop or two for refreshments along the way, why not treat yourself to some pampering at the hotel's luxurious Spa?
Before dinner, after a drink in the cosy bar (one of the beers is brewed within the grounds), decide on a option for dinner; the main restaurant, Beresford's, serves fine dining faire, or perhaps opt for the more casual (but equally delicious) brasserie or Lodge menus, which can be enjoyed either in the lounge or the covered (and heated) outdoor Lounge Kitchen and Bar.
All communal spaces are set up to adhere to safe, social distancing.
The three-night spring break, costs from £225 per person (two sharing a room), including a full breakfast and a £30 per person allowance towards dinner each night.
The offer is available during March and April 2021 (including the Easter holidays). Room upgrades available at a supplement, subject to availability.
