CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. - Jan. 21, 2021 - PRLog -- Once again, a facility with a track by Mondo, the leader in sport track innovation and expertise, has been chosen to host a prestigious track and field event. This time, it's the Randal Tyson Track and Field Center on the campus of the University of Arkansas, and the event is the American Track League.

A series of four competitions, the American Track League is part of the World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver level meetings. Showcasing some of the world's top men and women track and field athletes, the contests are slated* to be held on consecutive Sundays starting Jan. 24 and will be broadcast live on ESPN/ESPN2.

The Randal Tyson Track and Field Center features a Mondo indoor  banked track that was recently refurbished with a Mondo Super X 720 track surface so the NCAA Division I university could continue to live up to its billing as "fastest track the world," according to university officials.

Ideal for both training and high-level competition, Mondo tracks help athletes perform their best when it matters most and set records: more than 280 world records have been set on Mondo's track surfaces.

It's no wonder Mondo tracks have been the surface of hundreds of prestigious track and field competitions around the world and in the United States, including numerous NCAA track and field championships.

Now entering its sixth year, the World Athletics Indoor Tour is a series of the best one-day professional indoor track and field competitions in the world. Of the five Gold level World Athletics Indoor Tour competitions in 2021, four will be held at venues with Mondo tracks: Feb.  9 in Lievin, France; Feb. 13 in Boston; Feb. 13 in Torun, Poland; and Feb. 24 in Madrid, Spain.
