Finsbury Investments, Company Owned By Dr. Rajan Mahtani, Remains Owner Of Portland Cement

LUSAKA, Zambia - Jan. 14, 2021 - PRLog -- In a dramatic turn of events, the Ventriglias established a claim at the Supreme Court Zambia challenging the court decision of Portland Cement at the higher Court of Appeal. This decision was made on 31st January 2019 in which justice Mwinde reversed the decision from the Lusaka High Court. It should be noted here that in the month of May, 2018, justice Nkonde on behalf of the Lusaka High Court gave a controversial judgement on the long-pending Portland Cement Zambia case. This controversial judgement ended with the Ventriglias gaining ownership of the Portland Cement factory.

Fast-forward 1.5 years later, the Ventriglias suddenly decided to challenge the decision from the Court of Appeal regarding the Portland Cement Zambia case. This challenge was established at the Supreme Court, the highest-level judiciary system of any nation. Perhaps the Ventriglia family tried to replicate the strategy of Dr. Rajan Mahtani of challenging the previous court decision. However, the infamous Ventriglia family forgot a major part of the process. No court will accept a case which is legally not viable as well as which has controversial or lack of evidence. The same evaluation was concluded by a bench of three Supreme Court judges established in order to verify the authenticity and relevance of the appeal by the Ventriglias. As such, the appeal was rejected by the Supreme Court and it was announced that Dr. Rajan Mahtani will remain the actual owner of the Portland Cement Zambia factory.
