Does Singapore Airlines Allow Pets on Board?

Passengers need to call Singapore Airlines to book their flight and inquire about making the arrangements to travel with a pet. Not all Singapore Airlines allow pets on board, nor is there any guarantee that there will be room for your pet.

DENVER, Del. - Jan. 12, 2021 - PRLog -- Preparing to travel can be a hassle, especially when your travel companion is a furry four-legged animal. Whether you are just traveling for a vacation, visiting family, or just shifting to a new place, you may find it necessary to carry your pet with your Singapore airlines. To ensure smooth travel, it is essential to arrange your pet's transport in advance and also to abide by the rules and regulations of Singapore Airlines.

The thing you will Need

1) Certified Kennel Health

2)Vaccination Certificate

Important Instruction to Remember
  • Make sure your pet is allowed on the flight. Singapore Airlines does not allow cats and dogs under the age of 6 months, most birds, pigs, primates, snub-nosed, and various other dogs' breeds to travel. Note that animals allowed, except for guide dogs, must travel in the cargo hold and are considered "excess baggage".
  • Allow your pet to get used to the cage well in advance of your flight. Knowing that the kennel is a safe environment will increase the chance of a comfortable flight for your pet.
  • Gather the necessary documents for your pet. If you are traveling abroad, check the required documents for your destination country. You might also need health and vaccination certificates from your veterinarian.
  • Give your pet plenty of exercise on the day of the flight. You have to eat your pet, a light meal a couple of hours in advance. Get to the airport as close to your flight as possible. Spending too much time at the airport can scare your pet.
