-- Japanese Martial Arts Center (JMAC) is helping members stay healthy under pandemic restrictions by offering at-home and socially distanced options for training. Classes have proven beneficial and have fostered a much-needed feeling of connection, according to member reviews on the JMAC website.
Regular exercise improves physical, mental, and emotional health. With gyms operating under pandemic restrictions, people are looking for safe options. JMAC offers classes via Zoom, video, and private training. Private training can be via Zoom, or at the dojo wearing masks and following social distancing guidelines.
It can be challenging to find a quality workout or gym when pandemic regulations limit in-person visits. JMAC invites potential members to a free introductory lesson, via Zoom or in-person, to get a feel for the classes and people of JMAC. More information, including member reviews, can be found on the website.
JMAC offers a variety of martial arts training and self-defense classes, as well as a short but intense bootcamp workout in Ann Arbor called the JMAC18. They've provided Ann Arbor and the Southeast Michigan area with classes for all ages and sizes for 15 years!
