Imagen Golf Announces the NEW +55 Golf Institute Specifically Designed for Seniors

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - Jan. 3, 2021 - PRLog -- Imagen Golf, one of the fastest-growing golf instruction firms in PA is proud to announce its new +55 Golf Institute specifically designed for golfers over 55 years old.

Amid increasing demand for all things golf and golf instruction Imagen Golf recognized the need for golf instruction specifically designed for older, senior golfers.

"With only one other academy that specializes in senior golfers in the Country, we thought it was time to bring specialized instruction for the many seniors who play the game in our area," said Daniel Guest, Head of Golf Instruction. "This Institute will allow us to do just that."

Everything you see on TV and read in golf magazines is about how the "Big" muscles of the body are supposed to control the golf swing for distance as well as accuracy. Well, if you are not as flexible or likely not as young as the guys and gals on the Professional Tours, it just is not true. Even then, it is obvious from watching those amazing golf shots that most of the power comes from how fast the player is able to swing their club head with their hands and arms.

"We work on getting the body involved, as much as our students are able to do without hurting themselves but the idea is to swing the golf club with the hands and let the various body parts "react" to the swinging motion of the golf club from start to finish." Guest added "even students with "bad backs" soon discover that they are once again able to swing the golf a club without pain by simply allowing the body to follow the golf club, rather than just lunging at the golf ball with their bodies."

Arnold Palmer once said, "Work with the golf swing you have and don't try to swing like somebody else." This is a principle we strongly believe in and rooted in our Institute, especially when working with students who have been playing the game for several years. It is difficult enough to have a student make even a small adjustment in their grip without trying to have them remake their whole golf swing.

Ultimately, our goal at the Institute is not to "change your swing" but work to help each student make better use of the swing they have.
