Moijey Fine Jewelry & Diamonds CEO Steps Down Temporarily

SILVER SPRING, Md. - Dec. 31, 2020 - PRLog -- After over 18 years in the luxury diamond business, Serial Entrepreneur and Founder of Moijey Fine Jewelry & Diamonds (MFJD), Daniel Moijueh Jr, will step down temporarily from the company in pursuit of writing his children's book series and spending time with his family. The international jewelry designer creates luxury, top quality jewelry for patrons, providing them with the unique "mine to finger" experience. Moijueh launched the company in 2002 after surviving the Sierra Leone and Liberia Civil Wars, becoming one of the first black owned, Sierra Leone-born diamond jewelers in America at the age of 17.  General Manager (GM), Naby Banguora will temporarily take over operations of the company as the interim CEO.

Naby is an international development consultant in the diamond and mining industry. He is an expert in diamond grading, appraisal, cutting and polishing which makes him an invaluable asset to our operations and quality jewelry and retail commitment. As a graduate of the American Institute of Diamond Cutting (AIDC), Naby has been importing diamonds from Sierra Leone and other parts of the world for over five years. He's developed several of the operational processes for the company over the past year. With over ten year in the diamond industry, Naby is well equipped to take on the challenges of leading MFJD to the next level. Additionally, his leadership experience extends as an essential worker in New York City Hospital during the COVID pandemic outbreak in New York City earlier this year.  He devotedly served as a Surgical Tech for Special Surgery in the heavily impacted New York City Hospital earlier this year.

The interim CEO, Naby will oversee the management and development of Moijey Fine Jewelry & Diamonds, new diamond search tool and upcoming launch with American/South Sudanese Supermodel, Nyakim Gatwech.  He will also work closely with Mr. Moijueh's non-profit Beyond The Carat Foundation, ensuring that the philanthropic vison and mission are achieved. The new team will work closely with Moijueh prior to his departure to establish Q1 and Q2 objectives and goals.

A family man at heart, Moijueh is looking forward to doting on his daughters. Aside from enjoying quality time with his family, Moijueh will shift his focus to finalize a children's book series, which will focus on teaching children ages 0-10 about the healing power of crystals and gemstones.
