Covid Kavach App by Dimakh Consultants Centre for Rheumatic Diseases Pune

PUNE, India - Dec. 26, 2020 - PRLog -- Dimakh Consultants developed an exclusive application COVID KAVACH conceptualized by Dr. Arvind Chopra and his team at the Centre for Rheumatic Diseases, Pune under the direction of MINISTRY OF AAYUSH.

COVID KAVACH provides an interface between researchers and participants enrolled in COVID-19 clinical trials across India, and has been deployed by the Ministry of AYUSH to capture participant status that informs the decisions of researchers and doctors. The app is specifically designed for security and privacy, ensuring no personal identification data is stored in the system. The highlight of this app is its ease-of-use. The intuitive design allows the wide range of participants to report their data easily and accurately, while also offering researchers streamlined access to information most critical to them.

This was a perfect amalgamation of Engineering excellence and Medical innovation. COVID-19 was new and we had no earlier benchmark or prototype to implement. So the challenge for us was to fulfil all the needs of the Doctors and the medical staff and to make an app which was very user friendly and intuitive for the team and the participants to use and implement. The most important aspect of the app is to ensure 100% privacy of each participant. None of the personal private data of participants is ever stored or recorded in the system which will reveal his/her individual identity. With great efforts we were able to successfully launch the app within 6 weeks.

The app was able to effectively deliver this innovative technology on a priority-need basis and support clinical trials. Dimakh Consultants is proud to have contributed towards the fight against COVID-19.
