CHL is the Media Partner for the Upcoming Webinar Series Self Sufficiency in Medical Technology

DELHI, India - Dec. 22, 2020 - PRLog -- With the vaccine distribution to begin soon, it looks like the end to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is here. The pandemic will be long gone but the important lessons it has taught us need to be with us forever. One of the most important highlights of it has been the importance of self-sufficiency in medical technology.

Keeping the same view at the prime focus, the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing a webinar series, on Self Sufficiency (Atma-Nirbhar Bharat) in Medical Technology, in association with the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers (Govt. of India).

The first webinar of the series focuses on Webinar on Development of National Medical Technology Roadmap and will be held on 22nd December 2020 at 11 AM onwards over Webex. Various experts from the industry will be sharing their viewpoints on the policy roadmap needed to catalyze the medical technology sector in order to make it self-sustainable. The reliance on import needs to be diminished while augmenting the VocalForLocal clarion call.

The virtual symposium will be graced by several dignitaries and experts from the relevant industries including the Chief Guest- Shri. Navdeep Rinwa (Joint Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India) and Guest of Honor- Dr. V G Somani (Drugs Controller General of India, CDSCO).

The eminent panel of speakers include Dr. Jitender Sharma (MD & CEO, AMTZ); Mr. Bhargav Kotadia (MD, Sahajanand Medical Technologies Pvt. Ltd); Dr. GSK Velu (MD, Trivitron Healthcare); and Mr. Rajiv Nath (Forum Coordinator, AiMED).
