Hillside Terrace Implements COVID Vaccine Rollout Plan

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Dec. 15, 2020 - PRLog -- Hillside Terrace Senior Living has partnered with Walgreens to provide the COVID-19 vaccine their community.

Hillside will set up a vaccine clinic within their community starting in January 2021 and plans to have all their residents vaccinated by the end of February 2021. Both doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be available. The second dose must be administered within 21-28 days of the first dose. The FDA recommends holding off getting the Pfizer vaccine if you have a history of significant allergic reactions.

According to Bloomberg, "Clinical-trial data has shown that Pfizer's vaccine is 95% effective in preventing symptomatic Covid-19. It isn't yet known whether the vaccine can prevent transmission of the disease." "At Hillside, we are taking every precaution and want to ensure the safety of our residents, staff and their families by distributing the vaccine," says Nanya Litz R.N., owner at Hillside Terrace.
