Help for People with Hoarding Issues - You Are Not Alone

SPOKANE, Wash. - Dec. 14, 2020 - PRLog -- Karin E. Fried of Organizational Consulting Services announces a "virtual" group for people with Hoarding issues. The "Buried in Treasures" book was written by Drs. Tolin, Frost and Steketee – the leading experts on hoarding.

Hoarding is a complex and isolating condition. Often misunderstood.

The work group teaches people with hoarding issues new skills, helps them overcome challenges, increases motivation, reduces acquiring and more.

The impact of Covid-19 has brought the need for Virtual training to the forefront. By offering a "virtual" group – anyone can attend. The classes have been attended by people all over the USA.

Each week there is a discussion around a skill, followed by the completion of various exercises. There are tips on decluttering and how to stop over-acquiring. Individual progress, challenges, successes and goals are monitored through the program.

Karin E. Fried of Organizational Consulting Services has earned her advanced Level II: Hoarding Specialist Certificate from the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD).
Fried has also earned numerous other certifications related to hoarding, chronic disorganization and other mental health conditions.

The Specialist Certificate provides in-depth information on hoarding and how to help clients manage more effectively in relation to stopping the acquiring and saving and staying organized.
