DURHAM, N.C. - Dec. 17, 2020 - PRLog -- Business School Professors Drs. Karen & Aneil Mishra have published a guide book to help college students and new college grads in their job search.  They have been guiding students and college grads for over 25 years, and have now put their advice in a format easy for others to use as well.

Before earning their Ph.D.s, both Drs. Mishra worked at General Motors in HR and manufacturing engineering. Their GM work experience, as well as their roles as startup and tech entrepreneurs, corporate executives in sales and marketing, board members, and leadership consultants enable them to help their students make connections to executives and effectively navigate the job search process.

"We have always enjoyed helping students in their job search process", said Dr. Aneil Mishra.  "We have had wonderful mentors ourselves over the years, and now we enjoy helping our students identify and use their strengths to make career connections and move closer toward their dream job."  Aneil is the Thomas D. Arthur Distinguished Professor of Leadership in the College of Business at ECU.

To enlarge this mission, 10% of the profits will go towards the Mishra's new non-profit, the Trust Network©.  "We created the Trust Network© years ago as a way to maintain connections with alumni from each school where we have taught; we have now turned it into a nonprofit. This will serve students who need extra help navigating the job search process, such as first-generation students and students who don't have access to the connections in our Trust Network©," said Dr. Karen Mishra. She is Associate Professor in the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business at Campbell University.

The book cover and illustrations were commissioned for this book and created by Campbell University alumna, Skyler Cason '19 of Skyler Hope Designs.  Her delightful multi-ethnic illustrations represent all of the students that Aneil and Karen mentor on a regular basis.

This new e-book is now available on amazon. Give the gift today of this new job guide to your college student or new college grad.
