Creator of Lu La Loop talks fashion, her new brand and its inspiration

NEW YORK - Dec. 2, 2020 - PRLog -- In an interview with the Shop Local Designers team, Lucy MacPherson shared her greatest inspirations for the brand Lu La Loop (http://www.lu-la-loop.com/), the evolution of the brand and the drive behind the brand collections. She went beyond internal brand information to share about collaborative work in the past and key fashion styles incorporated throughout the brand and its designers.

"LU LA LOOP gravitates towards the outsider, club kids, queer communities and for people that want to feel uniquely themselves. I do not really care about trends or mainstream fashion culture. I create a playful universe and costume and fashion that gives people a feeling of fierce energy and love," said MacPherson.

Her work has evolved more towards drag and queer communities for both performance artists and musicians.

Since moving to Berlin just over 2.5 years ago, MacPherson created a close-knit fan base and has worked with drag artists such as Bambi Mercury, Baby Lame, Yvie Oddly and Minerva Qween. She continued to create costumes for Aja Ireland and opened a shop and studio celebrating unique fashion with her partner, named "DIE KRAFT."

"The store is amazing. It's full of love and color and it's starting to gain a following of lovely people, a Destination store," said MacPherson.
