Ball State Alum and Professional Football Player, Tuni Ropati

WESTFIELD, Ind. - Nov. 25, 2020 - PRLog -- Tuni Ropati is a 6'1", 291 lb, unassuming, quiet guy who turns into a beast when on the field. As a defensive tackle, he is explosive off the line and ferocious in his pursuit of sacking the quarterback. He will take down anyone who gets in his way. While he is a machine on the field, off the field you will find a very humble, soon-to-be first-time father, who is very aware of the many blessings in his life.

Growing up in San Francisco wasn't easy, so Tuni decided to join his high school football team as a way to stay busy and out of trouble. He initially just joined for fun, but soon realized that he was actually pretty good! With the encouragement and support of his family, friends, and coaches, he decided to put as much effort and free time as possible to play football in college.

Tuni Ropati went to a junior college and played for them his first two years. He was then offered a scholarship to play for Ball State, which he enthusiastically accepted. He graduated from Ball State this past Spring with a degree in sociology.  From something that started out as just for fun, he has turned football into something that has helped him further his education and make a life for himself and his family he never thought possible.

Tuni currently resides in Muncie, IN and has received many offers to play professionally. He continues to be amazed and humbled by where football has taken him and where it will continue to take him. For these blessings, he is truly thankful this holiday season. This past week, Tuni was offered a contract to play professionally for the Bismarck Bucks in North Dakota, a blessing that arrived just in time for the most thankful season of all.
