CDI Names Nathaniel Nose Editor for 'Best Years Gone'

LANSING, Mich. - Nov. 25, 2020 - PRLog -- Native Michigander Nathaniel Nose, a regular collaborator throughout the years with Lansing (MI) based production company Collective Development Incorporated, has been tabbed as Editor for #TribeCDI's latest production, 'Best Years Gone.'

DJ Perry, CDI's CEO and the screenwriter/star of the 'dramedy,' made the announcement just days after the film recently wrapped principal photography at various locales between Lansing and Jackson (MI).

'Best Years Gone' was filmed in segments over approximately 21 days. Cast and crew observed strict covid protocols (masks and face shields, social distancing whenever possible, individual servings for catering and craft services, continuous disinfecting of equipment and gear, daily temperature checks and waiver sign-offs). The shoot also included no less than three covid tests for all cast and crew.

"We waited until the last possible 2020 window to film and the fact that we finished on-schedule, on-budget and safely is a great testament to this fine group of artists putting story first."
- DJ Perry

Mr. Nose, best known for directing, editing and creating visual effects on Part 3 of CDI's 'The Quest Trilogy' ('The Christ Slayer'), is a man of many talents in the business of film making and music.

A resident of the Boston-area, Mr. Nose is an actor, writer, cinematographer, editor, stunt- coordinator, VFX and graphics artist, production designer, musician and more. He has worked with CDI - in various production and post-production capacities - on several films. Mr. Nose's latest venture with CDI was filming and editing the introduction and post-screening interviews with cast and crew for the 'World Premiere' streaming event for 'Lost Heart'. That film, also a dramedy, screened across the globe via Encourage TV to tens of thousands of viewers.

'Best Years Gone,' directed by Shane Hagedorn, with Travis Hayward serving as Director of Photography, is a contemporary story about family, dreams, love and faith. With an automotive and race car theme running throughout. The film is layered throughout, with a cast of quirky, eccentric and memorable characters. It weaves a story with action; humor; heartfelt relationships; broken relationships – past and present; a focus on societal issues such as alcoholism and mental illness; tragedy; and, with several twists audiences won't see coming.

In addition to Mr. Perry (as 'Gil'), 'Best Years Gone' co-stars Erika Hoveland ('Sylvia') and has a supporting cast with several surprises, including Lana Wood (Diamonds Are Forever), Victoria Jackson (SNL) and Terence Knox (Tour of Duty). A fall 2021 release is planned thru Bridgestone Multimedia Group (BMG). Subscribe to the Tribe at www.cdiproductions.com
