Outlinx receives special mention in TIME's 100 Best Inventions of 2020 list
Outlinx caught the attention of editors at the iconic TIME, who recognized Outlinx as an innovative digital organizing tool.
"Thank you TIME for recognizing Outlinx as an innovation worthy of your 100 Best Inventions of 2020 list. I always intended for Outlinx to be a simple tool that everybody could find useful," said Derek Yap, the founder and creator of Outlinx. "With so many people sheltering in place I've seen an uptick in sales in 2020. It's clear people are spending more time shopping online these days, and I think a lot of the same people want to organize the spaces around them."
To collect its 2020 Best Inventions List, TIME solicited nominations through an online application process and editorial input. Each contender was evaluated based on a number of key factors including originality, creativity, influence, ambition, and effectiveness.
Outlinx, owned by Yap Lab LLC an independent business based in the SF Bay Area, is a consumer product that allows people to connect digital wiki-like note pages to physical objects with their decorative QR Smart Stickers.
