Sci-Fi Novel Follows Scammers Eluding Capture from Planet to Planet

Retired astronomer and prolific author of scientific books, Thomas Wm. Hamilton, presents Scam Artists of the Galaxy, his latest release and his second novel.

Follow two very creative futuristic swindlers as they journey throughout the universe, plotting 19 different scams. Travel along 450 years in the future, as these male cousins plan their schemes and escape just ahead of the law. In addition to their crimes, one of them, who considers himself a ladies' man, tries to pick up girls at every (space) port.

Imagine if insurance fraud, fake artifacts, currency tricks, and other schemes had 450 years to evolve. That's the basis on which this plot was driven.

Several stories reflect the author's background in astronomy. After considering all the boring email and phone scams received over the years, he wondered if scammers in the future might be more intelligent.

Thomas Wm. Hamilton is a retired astronomer who worked on the Apollo Project, and taught astronomy at Staten Island colleges while running planetariums for 34 years. He is a Fellow of the International Planetarium Society and namesake of asteroid 4897.
