ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Nov. 13, 2020 - PRLog -- GateauOchocolat, St Petersburg's signature chocolate dessert returns to the Saturday Morning Market this weekend, November 14 from 9 am to 2 pm at 101 1st St SE near Al Lang Stadium. The chocolate cakes are the creation of former restaurant owner and downtown revival pioneer Emmanuel Roux, a Frenchman. Born in Tunisia, educated in France, the UK and Switzerland, Roux had a rich international career. He now advocates artisanal regional specialty foods and "Good Food" in general. He feels local specialty foods contribute to a sense of place and improve quality of life by adding personality to the community.
GateauOchocolat is made only in St Petersburg and enjoyed everywhere by a happy few.

The initial spark for Roux's creation happened in a Parisian bistro where he and wife Jennifer tasted an amazing chocolate cake. Back in the states, Roux's extensive trials and selfless taster friends helped set the final flourless GateauOchocolat recipe resulting in heavenly 100 % gluten free cakes.
