Greater Fort Myers Chamber's 'Nov(m)ember' campaign challenges community to shop locally in November

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Nov. 11, 2020 - PRLog -- The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce has launched a month-long campaign, called "Nov(m)ember," that challenges the community to shop locally in November.

From retailers to restaurants, home repair to personal wellness – whatever services are required – the Chamber is encouraging members of the community to be local spenders during Nov(m)ember.

"This year has been challenging for businesses across all industries and they need our support now more than ever, especially as we head into the holiday season," said Colleen DePasquale, president and CEO of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce. "Nov(m)ember is our way of highlighting this region's many incredible businesses, urging others to support local businesses throughout November and beyond."

To participate in Nov(m)ember, members of the community are encouraged to patronize local businesses, snap photos of their visits and share them on social media using the hashtag #GFMCCNovMember. The Chamber is also offering leave-behind cards that allow customers to share notes of encouragement for the businesses they frequent. These cards are available for download or pick-up at the Chamber's office, 2310 Edwards Drive in Fort Myers.

The Chamber has also rallied several of its member businesses to offer special offers and discounts as part of the Nov(m)ember campaign. A list of participating businesses and promotions can be viewed at FortMyers.org/NovMember. Chamber members who wish to share an offer for their business can email Debra@fortmyers.org to be featured among Nov(m)ember promotions.
