Angela Hunner-Davis MS BSN RN WCC DAPWCA the New Director of Clinical Services

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - Nov. 9, 2020 - PRLog -- SHAWNEE, KS | INDEPENDENCE, MO – Kansas Palliative & Hospice Care and Missouri Palliative & Hospice Care, are community-based organizations dedicated to palliative and hospice care. Are proud to announce the promotion of Angela Hunner-Davis MS BSN RN WCC DAPWCA to Director of Clinical Services for both Kansas and Missouri palliative and hospice care organizations. Angela brings over 13 years of hospice and palliative care experience and since 2014, has been a successful Clinical Director and Wound Care Certified Nurse leading their interdisciplinary team to help meet the needs of the growing senior population.

As Director of Clinical Services, Angela will provide nursing leadership in the development and review of all appropriate clinical protocol's. She will continue to provide knowledgeable resources to the interdisciplinary team regarding pain, symptom management, and National Medicare guidelines. Angela will oversee patient care management planning, budgeting, and monitoring progress to achieve both organization's strategic goals. As Director of Clinical Services, she will maintain standards for giving excellent quality care by all members of the patient care team. Angela holds a Master of Science degree in hospice and palliative care from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Pharmacy, where she also earned graduate certificates in Principles and Practice of Hospice and Palliative Care and Clinical Aspects of Hospice and Palliative Care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Kaplan University.
