Rising Country Artist Daniel Bonte to Release New Single "Dancing Away from Me" Nov. 16
By: Daniel Bonte
"I wrote Dancing back in the spring of 2018 with my then bandmates at the time Jeff Dennis, Jeff Carbone, and Paul Jones," shares Bonte. "The song was inspired from a night out at a local honkytonk where I saw the woman I love two stepping with another guy. We had agreed to see other people, but it's hard to not let something like that affect you. I finished my beer, paid my tab, went home and penned the song that night."
The Indiana native's unique vocal skills & style, best described as country blues, rock, and soul, is reminiscent of the legendary Garth Brooks and today's country superstar Luke Bryan. While Bonte takes inspiration from his own life, he writes lyrics about universal experiences.
"This story explores the feeling of seeing someone slipping out of your life by way of a dance floor." Bonte adds, "It's an authentic depiction of a sobering moment in my life and I thought it would make a damn good country song. I hope when people hear it, they cherish the love they have, or if needed go "cut in" and get her back!"
Daniel Bonte broke onto Orange County's country music scene in 2014 and started kicking-up dust with a weekly country night at Big's Bar & Grill in Fullerton. Since then, Daniel has shared the main stage with some of Country music's top acts including Lee Brice, Billy Currington, Dustin Lynch, Justin Moore, Easton Corbin, Chase Rice, Chris Janson, Cody Johnson, Josh Abbott Band, Randy Rogers band, Casey Donahew, A Thousand Horses, and more. He's headlined multiple local festivals & shows across the LA, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Central California markets.
