ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Nov. 6, 2020 - PRLog -- Geherin Law Group, PLLC. is hiring!  They're looking for an attorney to start on a limited/contract basis, working on several capital cases (including homicide) from the beginning through jury trial (with the possibility of second-chairing trial).  The ideal candidate must have the following: a Michigan Bar License; no more than 2 years' experience practicing criminal law; a dedicated and verifiable interest in criminal justice/defense; and a specific desire to be a trial attorney, with demonstrated mock (or actual) trial experience and success.

The candidate will start on an hourly rate, dependent upon his/her experience and the type of work requested.  This position is part-time, variable and subject to termination at any point.  However, if the candidate enjoys the job and excels at it, he/she may be encouraged to stay as long as the cases continue. Moreover, the firm may offer the candidate a permanent Associate Attorney position in the future.

This is a unique and fulfilling opportunity for an attorney who is interested in criminal defense to gain real-worldexperience handling a case from start to finish, all while under the supervision of experienced and dedicated attorneys.  Additionally, this position will provide invaluable courtroom experience, including the possibility of actively participating in pre-trial and trial litigation.
