BEST begins selling IPC-A-610H and J-STD-001H Standards

The new versions of the electronic inspection and assembly standards are available for sale on soldertools.net
ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. - Nov. 6, 2020 - PRLog -- BEST Inc. announces that it has begun taking orders for the latest "H" revision of two popular IPC electronic standards the IPC-A-610H for inspection and the J-STD-001H standard governing the assembly of electronics. Orders for the electronic version can be immediately fulfilled for both standards documents.

BEST's e-commerce store, found at http://www.soldertools.net, has both the print and electronic versions loaded onto the site for immediate purchase.

The IPC-A-610 revision "H" is the latest version for the inspection of electronic assemblies and contains numerous changes. The biggest noted changes include the removal of all target conditions in order to reduce confusion, new criteria for wrapped terminals, the ESD material moving into its own section in the appendix and the addition of a new jumper wire chapter.

The IPC J-STD-001 revision "H" governing the assembly standard for electronics contains several significant changes including but not limited to new cleaning and residue requirements, new requirements for the use of X-RAY inspection of solder joints as well as numerous criteria updates.

"This is a significant update to the most widely circulated IPC standards. We expect the training materials to be available in 6 to 9 months to get clients updated certifications," commented Dan Patten, general manager at BEST Inc.

These standards are supported by BEST Inc. master instructors who teach the certification standards classes.
