BriteCo & ASA Announce Partnership to Offer New Fundamentals of Jewelry Appraisal Course
Scheduled to debut online in early 2021, the course is designed to designed to give jewelers an opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of professional appraisals, the course will be presented virtually and will be taught by ASA-Designated Appraisers with over three decades of appraisal experience. Students will be introduced to the core competencies every appraiser needs to accurately value gems and jewelry for scheduled insurance coverage. After the course, students may also access a hands-on module showcasing BriteCo's cloud-based, online system.
Upon completion of the class, students will be provided a Certificate of Completion and will be encouraged to continue a more formal education pathway through the American Society of Appraisers. BriteCo clients will be able to note completion of this course within the Briteco system.
In addition, ASA is offering BriteCo's jeweler partners (who are not currently members of ASA) a 20% discount on the Fundamentals of Jewelry Appraisal course as well as three free months as an Ally Member of ASA.
