She also fulfilled needs in Mexico and South America. Ybarra recently finished work to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and is completing her doctorate degree. Ybarra was one among a total of 156 outstanding nominations in Austin Adventures' Essential Service Providers contest. All of these contenders, including the top 24 nominees, will receive a gift certificate for a $500 discount on a future Austin Adventures trip. This opportunity to recognize brave individuals was created by Austin Adventures in early June 2020 while the company rolled out many other consumer-focused initiatives amidst the pandemic.
